Get a price for the actual job
A square-metre rate on its own does not describe a grinding job. The existing surface, amount of removal, edges, access and finish all affect the work involved. Send photos and a few details so we can confirm a scope and quote.
What changes the scope?
- The surface: bare concrete, carpet glue, tile adhesive, paint or an old coating.
- The result: grinding only, preparation for a floor covering, grind and seal, or polishing.
- The layout: total area, small rooms, edges, thresholds and awkward spaces.
- The site: access, power, parking, floor clearance and timing.
- Other work: repairs, levelling, moisture testing or specialist removal that may need separate arrangements.
Small jobs are welcome
One room or a garage still needs setup and finishing time. Send the details even if your job is small; we’ll discuss what is practical and confirm the price directly.
Compare the inclusions
Check what each quote covers: the prepared area, edges, removal, the required finish, clean-up and any extra work. Ask whether GST is included and when the floor can be used or handed over to the next trade.

Your suburb, approximate m², photos, what is on the slab now and the finish you want. Include a preferred date and any installer requirements. A quote request does not confirm a booking.
