Let us know about parking, loading access, stairs, lifts, available power and when the floor will be clear. Flag site induction, SWMS, dust-control and paperwork requirements when you request the quote so these can be confirmed before booking.
What to include in a trade enquiry
- Marked area or plan: rooms, approximate m² and any specific high spots or slab joins.
- Existing surface: bare slab, glue, tile adhesive or coating, with wide and close-up photos.
- Required handover: the next flooring system, installer’s specification, or the agreed make-good scope.
- Site arrangements: suburb or town, loading and access, power, clear-floor date and next trade’s date.
Split the preparation scope clearly
On a strip-out, confirm who removes the floor covering before grinding starts. On an extension, identify the slab join and the finished floor heights. On a make-good job, send the actual floor requirement rather than relying on the phrase “make good”.
Include whether glue and coating removal and preparation before installation are part of the same job. Repairs, levelling compound and moisture testing should be allocated in the trade scope.

Regional Victorian work is considered on request. Send the town, scope, approximate floor area and timing so travel and availability can be confirmed.
